If you cite “religious reasons” as your source for anything other than your diet or attire, I’m gonna deduce your argument as invalid.
Judging by your inappropriate use of the term invalid, I am going to deduce your argument as unsound.
I’m talking about using “religious reasons” to be homophobic, or pro-life, or promote your favorite 2012 candidate, or discredit evolution, or be anti-death penalty, or be anti-contraception, etc. I’m mainly saying that citing “religious reasons” as the cause of your political views is as good as saying “I’m pro-life, just because.”, considering the fact that being a secular nation. Our citizens shouldn’t make political decisions based on religion (and neither should politicians). Plus, since people usually only use “religious reasons” to justify their diet, attire, or political views, I felt it irrelevant to list any of the other times that saying “Oh no, I can’t, because of religious reasons.” would be perfectly acceptable.
