Robert E. Lee is my favorite American general. Douglas MacArthur is a close 2nd but I kinda resent him for Korea.
You can have your absurd beliefs, illogical arguments, and vile scripture so long as they don’t harm anyone else; THAT is your freedom of religion. Heck, you can even go preach it to the world if you’d like; THAT is your freedom of speech and expression. But the second you try to take your nonsense and hinder our growth as people, I’ll stand up against you and put you down.

It’s not up to the state to take sides in these matters. Calling yourself “a nation under God” is taking a side, and giving fanatics a talking point. It’s about time this change was made, in my opinion.
