I’m seriously considering dropping orchestra for my junior year…

I already gave up my lunch to take Bio-Med, so I’m gonna be doubling up on Sciences next year (I’m planning on being a Bio major). And I want to actually take an elective, like maybe Java programming or maybe I’ll stick with music and take Piano. Idk.

My high school is known for its exceptional music program (This year our best orchestra-we have 4- became the ASTA National Champions and our bands take home prestigious awards at the Berklee Jazz Festival on an annual basis) and the orchestra I’m in, even though it’s the worst orchestra in the school (skill-based), still sounds pretty damn good. Idk. Playing an instrument looks really good for college applications but sucking horribly at viola can’t be too good either. Any suggestions?
